Vaccination Requirements for Fall 2022

All students, faculty, and staff are required to be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccine by the beginning of the fall semester, and must provide proof of their vaccine status no later than August 15, 2022.

A person is considered "up-to-date" when they have received all recommended doses in their primary vaccine series, and one booster (when eligible).

In addition to the three U.S. approved vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson), vaccines approved by international governments will be accepted. If you are coming from outside the U.S. you are strongly encouraged to get a vaccine approved for use in the U.S., if possible. For travel into the U.S., a WHO-approved vaccine is required. Confirm with your medical provider if you have questions. The deadline to be up-to-date on vaccines against COVID-19 is August 15. Please update your vaccination status in Workday as soon as possible. You may be required to show proof of vaccination when you arrive on campus for classes or housing move-in.

If you are unable to receive a vaccination in your current location and need a temporary extension, or would like more information about applying for a permanent exemption due to a disability, medical, or religious reason, please email deanofstudents@cca.edu (students) or hr@cca.edu (faculty/staff).

California and the Bay Area have excellent vaccination resources and availability. If you are granted a temporary extension or a permanent exemption, you will be required to provide a negative PCR test once per week until you are up-to-date on your vaccines against COVID-19.

When You Are Fully Vaccinated and have received your Booster shot

To update your vaccination status, please log into Workday and follow these instructions. Entering your vaccination status as soon as possible will help inform updates to existing on-campus policies and protocols while continuing to ensure that we keep our community safe and healthy.
