• Review Spring Financial Aid Package in your Workday account:
  • Ensure any missing requirements are completed and submitted.
  • Register in full time required units per your academic plan and ensure all courses count towards degree progress.
• Make sure all aid you wish to disburse is accepted and/or applied for. (i.e. Plus Loans, Private Loans).
• First round of Spring Disbursements for students meeting all requirements listed above.
  • First rounds of anticipated refunds are expected to go out the first or second week of classes for those meeting all the requirements listed above.
• Complete health insurance waiver for spring semester.

February:

• Look out for Summer registration notifications. If you plan on enrolling for summer courses make sure you have already completed the FAFSA for the new academic year.

March:

• Priority deadline for New Academic Year FAFSA completion, March 2nd.
• Estimated Financial Aid Packages for students enrolled in Summer courses will be posted to your Workday account.
• Financially prepare for summer payment if enrolled in summer courses.

April:

• Make sure all aid you wish to disburse for the Spring semester is accepted and/or applied for. (i.e. Plus Loans, Private Loans)- prior to the end of spring semester.
• Payment arrangement for summer enrollment due.

May:

• Student award packages for the upcoming academic year will be available for students who have submitted the FAFSA by priority deadline and submitted all required documents.

June - July:

• Review and take action on your new award package.
  • Upload all requested documents through your Workday account.
  • For accepted loans, complete any needed loan requirements and/or applications for Plus Loans or Private Loans.
• Financially prepare for the fall payment deadline.

August:

• First fall payment arrangement due
• Review Fall Financial Aid Package in your Workday account:

• FAO will review eligible students for Named and Endowed Scholarship eligibility, be on the lookout for potential award adjustments.

• FAFSA and CA Dream Act Application for the next academic year opens on October 1st.
